Rioters Convicted in Darien Trial After Three Days

Darien Georgia September 6 five of the rioters on trial have been convicted after three days of sitting. The first jury retired yesterday afternoon and a second panel of five was summoned as the court stretched late. By noon today the jury had not reached a verdict and may fail to agree.

Grain harvest set for Yakima median reservation this fall

Estimates place the grain harvest between 250000 and 900000 bushels on the Yakima median reservation this autumn. Four threshing separators are in use including one from Klickitat county and a new unit started by Mason & McLeod.
