Out of the ring for several days but back on the job to offer first class cleaning, pressing, dying, hat blocking, glove cleaning and alterations. Thanks to the public for past patronage and invites continued support at the new address 60214 First Street Tailoring and Cleans-4.
On Sunday morning the pastor will speak at 11 o'clock on What Do We as Disciples of Christ Believe of Christian Unity. All interested are invited. The Ladies Aid Society meets Tuesday at 2 PM and midweek prayer is Wednesday at 8 PM. Friday September 6 the C E group has a monthly meeting and will join others to paint the basement, bring paint brushes, and wear work clothes to avoid a fine. The church service flag will gain two stars for Ovel McCoy and Arthur Parrish. The C E group mails a monthly booklet from present members with pages by different Endeavorers. The pastor will speak Sunday evening on Excuses.

The board of equalization for Yamhill County Oregon will meet at the county assessor’s office on Monday September 9 1918 to examine the 1918 assessment rolls and correct errors in valuations descriptions or qualities of land lots or other property. All interested persons must appear to report duplicate assessments misvaluations or omissions and the board will make proper corrections.
