Obituary of John W. Webber from Ohio to Wyoming
John Webber born July 22 1845 in Mercer county Ohio enlisted July 31 1861 in the 39th Ohio for three years or duration. He served under Freemont Pope Sherman and Rosencrans in key battles and campaigns. Discharged August 27 1864 in Cincinnati. He later moved to Illinois Iowa Nebraska and Wyoming and married Rachel Temple in Laramie on December 28 1884.
