The regular W C T U session met at the public library on October 8 at 2 30. A brief talk on The Na K N Bickafoose was given in a profound manner. Mrs W N Coffee was to speak on Our Relationship to Our School but illness prevented. The year’s program was postponed due to rearrangements. Watch for future program.

The Newberg Baptist Church continues its Sunday activities under William Y. Arthur with an evening concert featuring pieces from Carrie Jacobs Bond. Worship hours include a morning service at 11 with solos by Arthur and sermons by Rev. W R Jewell. a 7 30 pm program concludes with a postlude.
Reserved seating opens for the lyceum course starting Saturday at Wood-Mar Hall. Come early to secure a seat for six big attractions priced at $2.00 with no price increase despite higher costs elsewhere.
Mrs Grissen announces the opening of a vocal studio in Newberg with ten years of teaching and concert experience. She studied with leading vocal teachers in New York and elsewhere and will teach at Miss Jee sle. Britt's studio on Fridays at 608 First Street Edwards Building opposite postoffice.
Fred G. Bale performs Saturday night at Woodmar Hall to kick off the lyceum course season. Seats may be selected Friday morning at Kienle's Music Store. Season tickets will be charged.
