Ashland Foundry Burned In Destructive Blaze
Ashland foundry and machine shops were burned with damage reaching ten thousand dollars. The detached pattern shop was saved after hard work while molding machine shop and office buildings containing valuable machinery were gutted. Cause unknown, fire started between the foundry and machine shop. Insurance carried was six thousand five hundred dollars. Plant remained busy with orders and employed a sizable workforce.
