A large audience attended the opening exercises of Pacific College as the year of great promise formally began. Distinguished speakers delivered strong addresses emphasizing growth, opportunity, and the college’s bright outlook for the months ahead.
A fragmentary section records voices from a college event with mentions of McGrew Miles Jones and Partington praising education and labor. References to culture, toil, progress, and support by Rev. Cash appear amid garbled lines and missing context.
The open ing of the Pacific College year drew a crowded chapel and a large home-town audience.
