A pleasant wedding took place at the bride's parents home in Newbery Wednesday evening the 28th uniting Miss Mabel Collard and Mr. Jay Davis in marriage. Rev F C Stanard performed the ring ceremony. A banquet followed and gifts were many and beautiful. The couple left Friday for their new Portland home at 622 Hood Street.

Emma Tarrant born March 1821 in Suffolk England married Alfred Smith in 1845. She later married John D. Tarrant and emigrated to America in 1854.
