150 Present November 24 Rally Day Service
On Sunday evening November 24 the Young People’s Society of Christian Endeavor will host a Thanksgiving and Rally Day service in the church tabernacle at 6 15. The program includes devotional thoughts, readings, a male quartet, solos, short talks on Gratitude, and reports of C B work. Members are urged to attend to reach the goal of 150 present.

Farmers Meeting at Duncan's Hall in Oregon Lecture Series

County Sunday School Convention Focuses on Rural Work
The thirtieth annual Yamhill County Sunday School Convention met in Sheridan in November 1915 with 103 attendees. L. J. Davis urged aiding rural districts, Mrs. H Wyse Jones urged daily Bible study, and Rev Charles Phipps led talks. Delegates adopted resolutions calling for greater service, home missions, rural school support, and continued backing of Governor West on liquor enforcement.

Miss Esther Cleveland eldest daughter of the late President and Mrs. Cleveland was formally presented to Princeton society at a Westland residence reception. The Ladies Auxiliary to Pacific College is compiling a cook book with over 650 recipes including soups meats desserts and pastries. The special prune and candy sections highlight new serving ideas and sixty candy recipes. It will go to print and be sold December 14 at a Christmas sale by the Friends Church auxiliary with ads thanking local merchants.
