Mrs. Lewis Mayers died near Portland on March 22 1918 at age 23. She was born December 12 1894 in Mauston Wisconsin and moved to Oregon in 1908. Survived by husband mother and three sisters, funeral held in Newberg with Christian church rites. She was buried in Friends cemetery.
