The Oregon governor appeals for reelection, pledging continued support for wartime efforts, enforcement of law, economic efficiency, and state development. He emphasizes aiding veterans, backing prohibition and equal suffrage, and maintaining public morale, while urging unity between employers and workers and prudent state spending.
The Trefian Literary Society presents a Longfellow program on March 29 at Wood-Mar Hall to benefit the Red Cross. The event showcases readings and musical items by society members and local performers to support wartime relief efforts.

The Red Cross seeks donations through a benefit performance of The Man on the Box on March 22 and 23 at the Imperial Theatre in Moe Minnville. Proceeds support Red Cross relief efforts.

Esther Miles won first place with Llewellyn Sanderman second. solos by Mrs Babcock and Miss Ethel Morris were well received.
