Carlton teachers and officers meet for day of talks
The Carlton gathering opened at 10 o clock with Supt Belt in charge. Miss Ida Smith from McMinnville and Miss Bodle from Carlton led reading and number work while Prof Dodson of Dayton spoke on devices. A meal by pupils followed and solos entertained before Supt Belt reviewed school issues and the upcoming fair. Prof Ailer addressed current events and Prof Thorpe led calisthenics. The institute adjourned to meet in McMinnville on April 23.
