ICH Farm Bought By Willamette Valley Firm

The Dean Land and Improvement Company along with O A Neal and Chester Shumaker bought 140 acres at $200 an acre totaling $64,000. The tract near Hood River is praised for ideal apple growing with 166 acres kept for personal use and 155 acres offered on contract with tree-planting clauses. I N Campbell bought 20 adjacent acres for $4000 and will plant trees. The land features heavy underground moisture to be tiled and retained for dry months.
