Two Lives Lost In Automobile Accident Near Dilley
A fatal crash on Gaston road between Dilley and Jon last Tuesday night killed Mr. and Mrs. Wahl and left Susan Beale missing. The Wahl vehicle rolled down a fifteen foot grade after lights failed, catching fire as the car burned. Alex of Scoggins Valley survived, freeing Mrs Beale before flames engulfed the wreck. Mr. Wahl was a Scoggins Valley pioneer. Mrs. Wahl was sister to Senator LaFollett and Mrs. Scott of Cherry Grove.
