Carrie Myers a 33 year old balloonist from Springfield Mass died after falling from a parachute at the Olean New York fair grounds before about eight thousand spectators. In a First avenue and 32d street street fight between two Slimy Backs factions a man and two women were shot and taken to Bellevue Hospital. Frank Ness known to police Nestie of 446 East 83rd street and Charles Grimm of 356 East bd street were arrested.
