The President of the United States William McKinley expired at the home of John G Milburn in Buffalo at 2:15 this morning. The end was peaceful and painless and he was conscious at intervals during the night. He spoke a final farewell to Mrs McKinley saying It is Gods way His will be done. Relatives Cabinet members and friends were admitted to his room to bid him goodbye.
