Taxi Kills Boy As Police Chase Through Brooklyn Ends
A 40 block pursuit through Fourth Avenue Brooklyn yesterday ended when a taxi ran over fourteen year old Frank Tora of 168 Thirty-fifth Street in front of 938 Fourth Avenue. Police sergeant Edward Foley and patrolman Harry Meldrum were badly hurt when a sidecar motorcycle collided with a touring car driven by David Beswick. The taxi escaped into a side street. The boy died before hospital arrival.
