Hud son Companies lease the plot to an out of town firm for a large department store 250 by 300 feet with a subway entrance at the 6th Ave 32nd Street corner. A Hudson rep says the property has not yet been leased.
J L De Saules and Henry L Gillespie of Pittsburg form the Nassau Hotel Company to erect a 600000 dollar steel and terra cotta trimmed hotel on a ocean facing Long Beach Long Island plot. The U shaped Spanish Renaissance structure will front 300 feet of boardwalk and 150 feet on National Boulevard and be built entirely of steel.
A transaction near a planned site involved City Investing Company selling eight lots at the north corner of St and Riverside Drive for 400 000 to Brody Adler Koch via Bernard Smyth Sons. The property, formerly Miss Ely's School, was quickly resold to A C H M Hall Realty Co. for development of a twelve story hotel and apartment complex with vast dining space and 300 rooms.
