Petroleum fields show steady wells in Brook County pool
In the lower southwest field the Follawsbee pool remains the hub as new wells come on line. Old wells hold up with good results from periodic shooting. The pool produces about 2.64 barrels per day while Holliday's Cove yields just over 1,300 barrels. Road conditions hinder activity in Roane and Lin counties. An important Brook County test near Balisbure is awaited and could extend production if successful.
