Love of Beauty Urges Early Arts Training At Museum Meeting

Dr. Denman W Ross urged that love of beauty is learnable by all not just artists and urged early training through music and movement. He argued art education should begin with design thought and be integrated with manual training, language, and reading in a staged sequence. Delegates heard H Bumpus welcome them and Mabie spoke on The Creative Spirit in Teaching as the conference continued.
