A massive real estate auction in the Bronx and Hunt’s Point drew record crowds with nine hundred plus buyers by 11 pm and about twelve hundred by midnight. Prices ranged widely from 1,600 to 4,000 dollars for various lots, with Oakdale plots selling swiftly and a total near 430000 realized. Several corporations and individuals participated, including Economy Realty Company and James Meehan, while plans moved for a four story department store at 8th Ave and 43rd Street and remodels at East 56th Street and West 12th Street.

Mrs Gertrude Robeson identified the body of her husband Howard Lyton Robeson found dead from a self inflicted gunshot in Prospect Park Brooklyn on Sunday. Robeson aged fifty eight reportedly lost two hundred thousand dollars in the financial panic last fall. They resided at 134 East 119th Street Manhattan.
