BIM THE BUTTON MAN DIES OF TONSILITIS AT 46
Merer R. Bimberg known as Bim the Button Man died at his home 217 West 119th Street after a brief illness. He served after the Spanish American War meeting Roosevelt at Montauk Point and forecasted McKinley Roosevelt nominations. He produced Roosevelt buttons and later built theatres including the West End Yorkville Colonial Astor and Stuyvesant. He was planning a Bronx theatre. wife and one daughter survive.

Tilt Over Jerome Testimony Prepares for Public Hearing
A preliminary tilt to the Jerome charges case occurred before Judge Foster as District Attorney Jerome and counsel Franklin Pierce clashed over inspecting grand jury minutes from 1896 1904 and related cases.
