A naval board tested the Lake submarine in Black Rock Harbor Bridgeport on March 17 with Simon J. Lake and Lieutenant Scofield aboard. The craft dove thirty feet in minutes and seconds and remained steady and on an even keel, pleasing Captain Adolph Marix and the board.

Postponed Trial in Capital Conspiracy Case
In Harrisburg on March 17 the Huston Capitol conspiracy case with Congressman Cassel W P Mathues and James M Shumaker Snyder W I was postponed from March 23 to May U at Huston’s counsel request. The state refused a separate trial. prosecutors offered severance if Huston disclosed all he knew, but Huston maintained his innocence.

Three Die in Powder Plant Explosion Near Linton
At the United States Powder Company press mill near Coalmont Indiana three workmen were killed and six injured today by an explosion. One injury is fatal. The exact cause is not yet known.
