Interborough seeks permission to mortgage assets for 55 million bond issue
The Interborough Rapid Transit Company filed with the Public Service Commission to mortgage all real estate and leaseholds to secure up to 55 million dollars in forty five year gold mortgage bonds. The plan includes 18 million to refinance notes, 12 million to fund debt and needs, plus 25 million notes and provisions for equipment and future construction. The commission will review the request as successor to the old Rapid Transit Commission.

Fifteen year old Nettie Morrison attempted to throw herself from a third floor balcony at Bellevue Hospital yesterday afternoon, was restrained by a visitor until orderlies intervened, and then admitted to Bellevue. She had been brought from Presbyterian Hospital last Wednesday after a week as a patient for burns on her head face and neck at her home 1555 Lexington Avenue.
