Farmers pay fines to free prisoners for wheat harvest

The heart of Count Julian de Ovies Chilean Consul in Pittsburg who died recently will be shipped to Madrid with affidavits and other documents by his widow Mme Blanca de Ovies who claims a large estate in Spain. The count belonged to a royal Spanish branch and the heart burial custom is noted. Mme de Ovies asserts her husband was an heir to property near Madrid comprising twenty four parishes and seeks a portion of it.
