Cat Saves Six From Asphyxiation In Middletown Home

American minister cites Root reply to Castro on arbitration demands

The Beaton fishing vessel Shepherd King sunk in fog off Georges Shoals on Friday. Sarto arrived with the crew, rescued by the steamer, after the ship from Boston eighteen days out with 16 hands and gear aboard sighted a large steamer and sank shortly after contact. Built in 1903, 121 gross tons and 74 net tons.

Race for Boy's Life At Pasteur Institute

A boy bitten on the leg by a dog belonging to a wealthy nearby family was rushed by train to the Pasteur Institute. Dr. Wheeler, acting director, expected to know in about eighteen days if rabies would develop. The boy was taken via Grand Central Station and an automobile ride to the institute after Dr. Flint advised immediate treatment.

Penn Bridge Co Fined $1500 For Eight Hour Law Violation

The Penn Bridge Company, building a bridge in Washington, paid $1500 in police court for violating the eight hour law. Convictions were sustained by the District Court of Appeals after three earlier cases. It stands as one of the largest fees paid by a single defendant in police court.
