Telegraph from Guadalajara reports General Alvaro Obregon's forces defeated 12,000 Federals under General Miel after a battle spanning about eighty miles. Five thousand prisoners were captured along with artillery and ammunition. Obregon led the assault into Guadalajara. celebrations erupt as he eyes Irapuato and recruits swell. Villa’s forces reportedly retreat toward Chihuahua.

He stole two watches, a diamond ring, silverware, brie a brac, $18, and the family revolver.
