Riverhead Long Island June 30 Louis Disbrow the man linked to the death of Clarence Foster and Sarah Lawrence arrived with Rowland Miles from Northport in custody of Sheriff Wells. Disbrow appears pale and cared for by treatment after his release from Good Ground while a Southampton hearing is planned. Miles keeps outsiders away as he works toward the hearing and his client’s condition.

Washington June 30 A sharp Senate colloquy ended with Senator Bailey of Texas violently attacking Senator Beveridge of Indiana in the chamber after adjournment. Parsons Plans Subterranean Brooklyn Bridge Terminal

William Barclay Parsons, chief engineer of the Rapid Transit Commission, is to submit a plan this afternoon for a subterranean Manhattan end terminal of the Brooklyn Bridge. The scheme also links the three Manhattan bridges by underground routes at a comparatively low cost, aiming to keep surface and elevated cars below Park Row.
