Kansas City officials report three people killed and three injured when a car owned and driven by John Mahoney plunged forty feet down Cliff Drive Canyon. The vehicle rolled end over end after Mahoney lost control on a curve, striking obstacles as it fell, with Mrs John Mahoney and Thomas McGuire also killed and John O Connor Nellie Mahoney and A Mahoney injured. Otis Le Roy Smith, known as Otis Le Roy, an artist and china decorator, died of a cerebral hemorrhage last night at his home 258 West 36th Street. Dr. Wilkinson of New York Hospital pronounced him dead. He was fifty two. Mrs. Mary Finnegan, boarding house keeper, found him unconscious after a loud fall. a policeman and the doctor arrived. Professor Edward V. Raynolds of Yale University Law School is reported ill with pneumonia in his Hotel Belmont apartments. His wife says he has improved after being considered serious.
