Ely Lands Aeroplane on Warship Deck at San Francisco
Eugene B. Ely flew thirteen miles to land the aeroplane on the deck of the cruiser Pennsylvania in San Francisco Bay, then lifted off again an hour later for a twelve mile flight from Sel frisge field.
