Tragic Sixty Third Street Shooting Leaves Man Wounded
On the southwest corner of Sixty third Street and Amsterdam Avenue, Thomas Meyer, a 35 year old cook, was shot five times by Nathan Mc Farland, 30, a waiter. Meyer is in Roosevelt Hospital with wounds to the chest and arm. Mc Farland was arrested at West Sixty-eighth Street police station and is due for arraignment. A bystander, Mrs. Washington, fainted as the attack occurred around 10:30 PM. Witnesses shouted for Mc Farland to be punished as police chased him through Manhattan.
