Doctor Robert W. Steger a former Chicago physician living at 101 West 84th Street attempted death by morphine and chloroform in a room at the Audubon Hotel. He left a letter saying he suffered from personal crisis mania and homicidal tendencies and willed his body to the College of Physicians and Surgeons for dissection.
