SAN ANTONIO Texas February 10 Lieutenant Harry D Smith of San Francisco and Lieutenant Harry W Brokaw of Harberton Ohio were killed when their planes collided at 1800 feet during combat practice and plunged to earth. Smith had a long overseas record and was regarded as one of the service's best flyers. He belonged to the 27th Aero Squadron while Brokaw was a member of the 94th.
