Patrolman Rescues Drowning Man At Sandboat Pier
Patrolman Henry Lobdell leaped into the water after a man who fell from a sandboat pier near the 23d street ferry. He dragged the unconscious man to a moored line and then to the boat deck with aid from watchmen.
