Brooklin Bridge subways terminal plan delayed over weight approval
Bridge Commissioner Stevenson seeks approval from Manhattan Buildings Superintendent Murphy for the terminal building foundation plans. Bids opened December 3, lowest from J. H. Gray Company at 3 697 006, with next lowest 3 874 756. If plans not approved, new specifications and bids could push completion to far beyond January next year, delaying the subway loop's expected traffic relief.
