Liberty Street Terminal to be Grand New Jersey Rail Hub

Joseph Osgood chief engineer of the Central Railroad of New Jersey states the Liberty Street terminal will be one of the world’s handsomest structures and is expected to be completed around January. A bridge across West Street will link upper and lower exits, with concrete piers already in place. Construction began after demolishing Pier 1e and building a new 300 foot pier renumbered 11, started September 1204, aiming to avoid interrupting heavy traffic.
