A Madison avenue electric car, speeding downhill at Eighty-ninth street, struck a Fifth avenue stage coach causing it to overturn and skid fifty feet. Three women inside were slightly injured and two on top seriously. the driver fractured skull. Five men died in a gas explosion at the McAlester Coal Company mine in Alderson Oklahoma Territory. Seven were injured and one reporter missing.
