Plymouth April 25 Hon Ronald Ed ward Ramsay brother of the Earl of Dalhousie was missing when the Hamburg American steamer Cleveland arrived from New York. He was last seen between 6 and 6 o clock Saturday evening and is believed to have fallen or jumped overboard. The missing man, born in 1885, had served as a lieutenant in the Scots Guards and left a farewell letter to his uncle Charles Ramsay. His mother died at sea last year and the Ramsay family has long ties to New York through relatives and guardianship by the Hon Charles Ramsay.

Stiehl has worked for Burg Brothers real estate dealers of San Francisco and earned about 13 000 in commissions in years. The Humboldt bank of this city was involved.

Mines may run short of work through the summer. coal cost around $750 per ton at the mines with storage and transport adds to costs.
