Tribute to Wade Hampton Buried at Trinity Church Yard

Fifty rescued after ferrygangplank collapse at West Forty-second Street
A crowd of about four hundred surged toward a float serving the Austrian cruiser Szigetvar when a gangplank failed under pressure. Fifty people plunged into the river as the starboard rail broke and the planks split.
