Mystery in Death of Iron Dealer Kane in Pittsburgh
Cornelius Jay Kane, 48, of J. B. Jones & Co iron dealers, died at Mercy Hospital after arrival by cab in mysterious circumstances. He was reported to be in Philadelphia, and his family learned of his death only after a hospital alert. Three men carried him into the lobby and fled. Kane died soon after.
