George McGeachin an importer of 874 Broadway Manhattan living in New Rochelle was shot in the right hand on a New York New Haven and Hartford train on his way home from Grand Central Station at 6 02 pm near 156th Street after a glass break caused by a bullet. Henry Payne a Jersey City shoemaker faced Acting Police Justice Miller on charges he tortured his wife by binding her and tickling her feet until she fainted.
