St Bartholomew Chinese Minstrels Celebrate Nineteenth Anniversary

The program mixed humor and songs, with Guy Main the Chinaman delivering a laundry-tag speech and a hat collection raising funds for a young woman studying medicine in China. The performance drew a ready audience, though initial delays and placards added to the evening's irony as the act culminated with musical numbers and a final appeal for donations.
