Wilton Lockwood, renowned portrait painter born Sep 12 1861 in Wilton Connecticut, died Friday at Deaconess Hospital Brookline Massachusetts. He studied in Paris and Munich and exhibited in the Paris Salon International Exhibition Munich and Berlin Triennial. His works are in major museums including Carnegie Institute and Museum of Fine Arts Boston. He married Ethel Whitton in 1892 in London and lived in Milton Massachusetts.

Lost boy reunites with mother in Hackensack
Mrs. Ann Maloney of Williamsburge New Jersey recovered her twelve year old son Georgze Maloney from the home of Mrs. Minnie Mann in Hackensack. The boy had been with Mrs. Mann since September 1912 on a tour of New England as a companion to her son John. A postal card from Concord New Hampshire dated March 16 1915 notified of the boy's location. Detective Breen and East Rutherford Chief McLelland aided in the reunion and the boy was delivered to his mother.

The North British and Mercantile Insurance Company wins a new trial after the Appellate Division rules the Merchants' National Bank must be allowed to argue before a jury whether the losses from forged checks, paid by employees of the insurer, arose from insurer negligence or lax accounting. The first forged check appeared August 24, 1907, with no protest until September 20, 1910.
