Plunges Into Canyon Near Denver In River Accident

Dr. F C Harley of New York City and Omaha friends had a near fatal plunge into the Colorado River near Denver while traveling to Las Vegas New Mexico for the Johnson Flynn prizefight. The chauffeur misjudged distances and the car sank in thirty feet of water. Harley, unable to swim, was swept downstream and rescued by two companions. His $500 purse and other effects were lost. An effort will be made to recover the automobile.
