Special to The New York Times El Paso Texas June 25 Col Fierro known as the Butcher who led killings at Zacatecas is reported dead. The death would obscure any pursuit of justice for rancher William Benton’s murder as even Constitutionalists acknowledge Fierro killed the Englishman. A telegram to A Benavides from his brother commander of Zaragoza brigade carried the report of Fierro’s death and of General Trinidad Rodriguez killed and General Monclovio Merrera wounded.
