May Build 80-Foot Fence Between Adjacent Buildings
Louis Kahn and Theresa Goldsmith of the San Salvador apartment house seek permission from the Department of Buildings to erect an eighty foot galvanized iron fence along the south line of their lot. The proposed screen would shield twenty three windows facing an airshaft at 346 Central Park West and prevent cross viewing from the adjoining Blinn building under construction. The San Salvador owners say no spite is involved and that Blinn’s tenants will still have access to light through a central shaft.
