Tailor Held on Arson Charge After East 105th Street Fire
After a blaze in a six story tenement at 39 East 105th Street last night Charles Scollick a tailor was arrested on arson charges by Fire Marshal Kelly. Fire began shortly after 9 pm and caused about 300 in damage. Police report Scollick had insurance and the dining room contained two kerosene soaked magazines ignited independently. Mrs Scollick and their five children were away when the fire started.
