Mrs Noble was indicted by the Queens County Grand Jury on a murder in the second degree charge in connection with the death of her husband Paton Noble. She was arrested at her parents home and jailed after a brief talk with the district attorney. She cried during arrest and is expected to be arraigned in Flushing before Justice Garretson.
Fourteen year old Ray Blakeley of Manhassett Park fell through an airhole in the ice on the Shrewsbury River near Pleasure Bay. John L.
