Sarah Roth eighteen years old was removed from 728 East Ninth Street to Bellevue Hospital after a week of mounting terror. She described horse and wagon threats and truck passes that she believed would trample or run her down. Doctors call it frightened insanity, likely temporary, but her condition worsened culminating in a transfer to the psychopathic ward where experts deem the case critical.
Westchester police alerted to a three-man burglary gang in a covered wagon and team seen near James Bailey’s newly built 500000 dollar Corcoran Manor home. Guard Antonio Dodd interrupted the attempt early morning, and the band fled toward Tuckahoe after Dodd shouted. Additional burglaries on Glen Avenue were linked to the suspects.
The Red Star liner Zeeland sailing from Antwerp spoke by telegraph with the Dace Set station in Massachusetts at 8 40 P M yesterday. Zeeland expected to dock about 2 P M today.

Four boys arrested in Rochester for trying to sell old coins disclosed that Rev. Jeremiah Zimmerman of Syracuse had his home nearly wrecked during a recent spree. They admitted breaking walnut cases with a hatchet and stealing coins and medals. Damages are cited at about 1000 dollars to the house and 5000 dollars to furnishings. Dr. Zimmerman and his wife are currently traveling in Italy.

An automobile owned by Maxwell Motor Car Company carrying Dr. and Mrs. D. L. Parker of Brooklyn was hit by a westbound Fifty-ninth Street street car at Eighth Avenue. The car overturned but the Parkers were uninjured while chauffeur Charles Koch sustained a slight cut, refused medical attention, and left for home. No arrests were made.
