A large boulder detach from a rock slide struck the house of State Senator Barney O Connell in Georgetown Colorado at 8 30 this morning killing his daughter Sarah O Connell a high school teacher. Mrs O Connell was injured. Another fragment hit Mrs Place s roof burying her seven year old son. Rock slides are unusual for this season.
Dr. Archibald P. Evans of 571 Park Avenue left his car running outside his home at 8 30 in the evening. The vehicle was stolen and found ablaze at Transverse Road near Fifth Avenue and Seventy-ninth Street. Insurance covered the loss at 100 percent of value.
