Customs Rulings Overrule Wells-Fargo Claim on Printed Matter

The Board of United States General Appraisers upheld 25 percent duties on a twenty four plate ancient French manuscript misclassified as printed matter under the Dingley law. It rejected the claim that the items were books printed in a non English language and thus duty free.
